Meet the Lawyers
Arthur H. Thorn, a founding partner, is currently the only Albany area attorney to be a sustaining member of the Product Liability Advisory Counsel.
Jeffrey J. Tymann, a founding partner, has successfully argued appeals before the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York as well the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
Maureen S. Bonanni, a founding partner, frequent lecturer and seasoned litigator, was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2000.
Paul D. Jureller focuses on products liability and medical malpractice and has been involved in all facets of litigation in both state and federal court, including motions, trials, and appeals.
Kyle N. Kordich was employed by a governmental relations firm as a lobbyist prior to joining the firm and currently focuses on products liability, medical malpractice, personal injury and criminal defense.
Matthew H. McNamara is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Saratoga County Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Capital District Trial Lawyers and American Inns of Court.
Mandy McFarland was Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department and is a recipient of the Women Achievers Award (1998-2000) from the New England Law Review.
Erin Patricia Mead was an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department and is a member of Albany Law School's Justinian Society.
Mia D. VanAuken's practice of law is civil litigation and appeals with a focus on the defense of medical and hospital malpractice.
Amanda Kuryluk is currently focusing her practice in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, and criminal defense.
Kathleen M. Ryan has been a trial lawyer who has devoted her practice to the defense of complex litigation, encompassing medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle liability and municipal liability claims.

Robert F. Doran served as a New York State Supreme Court Justice in both the Fourth Judicial District and in New York County (1986-1993) and currently spends a substantial part of his time acting as arbitrator for binding arbitrations and as mediator.
John T. Mitchell is a Past President of the Albany County Bar Association, served as a member of the Public Employment Relations Board (1999-2006) and is currently a member of the New York State Commission on Public Integrity.
